Physical Intervention
This course is for intervention, it directs candidates towards using disengagement skills, and also escorting duties; all moves and techniques taught are non pain compliant! This has proved extremely popular in the nursing and care industry. All techniques are based on CUPS and HOOKS, rather than grabs and holds, therefore not causing any injury or even marks or bruising. Various breakaway techniques are included in this is a one day course with assessments; our instructors will monitor all candidates during the day, before completing a final assessment. The Security industry Authority is moving towards this type of intervention training.
