The course provided me with the skills I needed to understand the role and duties of a member of security staff. The conflict management and practical training were great and allowed us to put ourselves in real scenarios and situations. The training was delivered to a high standard and the course was really enjoyable – I feel like I got a lot from it. I would recommend this to anybody considering a role within security and would definitely be interested in taking part in further training in the future.

As an ex police officer I was very pleasantly surprised at the knowledge and level of experience of Mr Tony Smith. He is obviously a very experienced individual and well respected in the security industry, there are so many wannabes out there! I would like to say to other security staff that we all need to move with the times. I attended some Control and Restraint training at Mission and felt it redirected me. I was becoming heavy handed with what I thought was right .These days we have to be very careful, as the law can see you as guilty until proven innocent, as once before, it was the other way round. Training is the key, I strongly believe that security staff should all have some disarming techniques before starting in the club world. Thanks to the guys at Mission, I kept my licence by following what I’d learnt. KEEP SAFE YOU GUYS!
